Another certificate for GTI Progeo 838

It is our pleasure to anounce that on the basis of a series of tests, the Motor Transport Institue decided again that GTI Progeo 838 in both, Standard and Radio versions, conforms to the requirements of the Minister of Transportation's ordinance regarding diagnostic equipment. The certificate issued to confirm the above has been given number Z/15/073/09 and is valid for another five years, i.e. from 12.06.2009 to 11.06.2014.

Our man in Brussels

Stefan Horbulewicz, a longstanding PRECYZJA employee, will be going on a four-day trip to Brussels to visit The European Parliament. The trip is a reward for promoting the right civic attitude - Stefan is one of the winners in a competition organised by the local Marshal's Office. The aim was to encourage people to vote in the European election on the 7th of June. All you had to do to take a shot at the prize was to fill in a form on the Internet and send it to the Marshal's Office. That was exactly what Stefan did and soon he found out that he was one of the four lucky winners. Congratulations, Stefan, and hope you give us a detailed account of the journey when you return!

GTL Truck accessory trolley

During the Poznań Automotive Trade Show we first exhibited a trolley for the transport of heavy GTL Truck accessories, namely 2 turntables, 2 rear plates, 2 universal  clamps 14"-24" together with 3 sets of feet and 2 rear targets. The troley was designed to make it easier to move the accessories to where the alignment measurement is being carried out - remember that the turntable alone weighs about 34 kg.

The trolley, as pictured below, can be purchased seperately, for all GTL Truck machines.

Autopromotec in Bologna

Two weeks after the Poznań Automotive Trade Show we had another big event for garage equipment suppliers and car makers - 23rd Autopromotec in Bologna. The Italian show competes with Automechanica Frankfurt and Equip Auto Paris for the title of the biggest, most important industry's event in Europe.

We could not miss such an important event, and so, three PRECYZJA representatives visited Italy to talk to partner companies and take a look at their, as well as competitors' latest products. Naturally, we spent a considerable amount of time at PRECYZJA's Italian partner's stand - Corghi, who exhibited a few novelties, the most important being:

• Corghi Monster AGTT - the latest  tyre changer for commercial vehicles, featuring  the "Leva la Leva" technology. The machine significantly reduces operator's effort thanks to the use of  a highly automated demounting tool and bead breaker disk. The new model also ensures absolute precision because the tool head remains centred on the wheel and is perpendicular to the tyre at all times. Corghi Monster can work with rim sizes of up to 58" without extensions and has a clamp mechanism for centre holes up to 90 mm in diameter.
• Artiglio 500 is a new tyre changer that Corghi have high hopes for. The machine is a successor to Artiglio 50 but improved with all the feedback from the market and its biggest assets are the "Leva la Leva" system and the possibility to work with rim sizes from 12" to 32".
• In the balancers segment, we could see the Blue Light in action, a balancer dedicated to users determined to own a "top of the range" machine. Although technologically advanced, this balancer is actually user-friendly owing to the implementation of quite a few innovative systems, e.g.:
  • Touchscreen,
  • Real Time - immediately calculates unbalance in real time,
  • Blue Light - illuminates the rim with blue LEDs, which makes it possible to work in poor lighting conditions,
  • Touchless - measures the wheel's dimensions automatically, using a laser.
